Inskillz/Refund Policy

Refund Policy

Version 1.0.0

This Refund Policy explains how Inskillz (provided by Inskillz OÜ, Estonia) handles refund requests for Course Enrollments. It works together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Effective with version 1.0.0.

What you buy

An Enrollment is a one-time digital Course purchase for one Child Profile. Prices are shown at checkout (for example AED, USD, or EUR depending on presentment and region).

Because the Course is digital and access can begin immediately after setup, refunds are not automatic for every change of mind after substantial use. We do, however, offer a fair, discretionary process so genuine problems can be fixed without locking us into rigid outcomes that do not fit every case.

Mandatory consumer rights

If mandatory consumer law in your place of residence gives you a stronger right (for example certain EU/EEA withdrawal or digital-content rights), that law prevails over this Policy to the extent of the conflict. This Policy describes our standard goodwill process and does not waive non-waivable rights.

Where digital content begins with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you lose a withdrawal right once performance begins, we may rely on that acknowledgment where the law allows.

How to request a refund

Prefer the Parent Dashboard support flow (topic: Refund request) while signed in with the purchasing Parent account. You may also email support@inskillz.com from the email used at purchase.

Please include:

- The purchase email - Approximate purchase date - Why you are requesting a refund

We may ask for limited extra detail to prevent fraud and to match the payment record.

Our standard window

As a goodwill standard, we aim to review refund requests made within 14 days of purchase.

Requests after 14 days may still be considered at our discretion for exceptional cases (for example a verified prolonged technical inability to access the Course that we could not remedy).

How we decide

We review requests case by case. Factors we typically consider:

- How soon after purchase you asked - Whether Child Mode was used and how much of the Course was completed - Duplicate or accidental purchases - Verified technical problems that prevented reasonable access after you contacted us - Signs of abuse, repeated refund patterns, or payment disputes raised in parallel

Without limiting our discretion, refunds are more likely when the Enrollment was unused or barely started, and less likely when the Course was substantially completed or a Project/certificate stage was reached.

We may offer alternatives instead of a full refund where fair (for example restoring access, replacing a faulty Enrollment seat, or a partial refund).

If a refund is approved

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via our payment provider. Timing depends on the provider and your bank or card issuer (often several business days after we submit the refund).

When an Enrollment is refunded:

- Child Mode for that Enrollment is locked - The paid access right for that Enrollment ends - Records needed for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy

A refund does not by itself erase Child Profile data. Use in-product deletion controls if you want erasure, subject to the Privacy Policy.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a card chargeback. Chargebacks opened without contacting us may lead us to suspend related accounts while we investigate, and may affect eligibility for future purchases.

Changes

We may update this Refund Policy. The version identifier is authoritative. Changes apply to purchases made after the updated version is published, unless we state otherwise or mandatory law requires a different approach.
