Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Inskillz (“Inskillz”, “we”, “us”), including our websites, Parent Dashboard, checkout, and Child Mode.

Inskillz is provided by **Inskillz OÜ**, a company registered in Estonia. We may later involve a Finnish group company once it is formed; until we notify otherwise in these Terms or at checkout, Inskillz OÜ is the contracting party.

By creating an account, completing a purchase, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Inskillz.

The service

Inskillz provides a paid, Parent-managed AI-literacy Course for Children aged approximately 7–12. A Parent buys an Enrollment, sets up a Child Profile, and shares a Join Code so the Child can enter Child Mode on the play host.

We may offer Inskillz in multiple regions (including the Middle East, Europe, and other markets such as parts of Asia or the United States). Features, language, currency, tax handling, and availability may differ by region. We may expand, limit, or withdraw regional availability.

We may improve, rearrange, replace, or discontinue Modules, Activities, features, branding, or supporting tools, and we may use learning progress to tailor the in-Course experience, provided the Enrollment still offers a reasonably comparable Course experience for its stated purpose. Marketing descriptions are illustrative; the live Course is what is delivered.

We do not guarantee any particular learning outcome, grade improvement, exam result, or future academic or career benefit.

Eligibility and parental role

You must be an adult with legal capacity to contract in your place of residence, and you must be the Parent or legal guardian of any Child for whom you create a Child Profile or give consent.

You are responsible for:

- The accuracy of information you provide - Supervising the Child’s use of Child Mode - Keeping Join Codes and Parent inbox access under your control - Ensuring the Child is within the intended age range - Complying with laws that apply to you when buying and using a children’s learning service

Children are not parties to these Terms and must not create Parent accounts.

Accounts and sessions

Parent accounts use passwordless email sign-in. You must ensure you control the email address used.

Parent, Child, and Operator sessions are separated by host. A Child Mode session resolves to a Child Profile only and does not carry Parent identity. Do not attempt to bypass host, session, Join Code, or consent controls.

We may suspend or limit access where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, chargeback misuse, security risk, or material breach of these Terms.

Enrollment and licence

Purchase of an Enrollment is a one-time fee for one Child Profile to take one Course version under these Terms and the policies presented at purchase.

An Enrollment is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the Course for personal, non-commercial family use. You do not acquire ownership of Course content, software, trademarks, or other Inskillz intellectual property.

Unless we expressly say otherwise in writing:

- One Enrollment covers one Child Profile - Additional Children require additional Enrollments - Sharing an Enrollment or Join Code outside your household for others to take the Course is not permitted

Prices and payment

Prices are shown at checkout in the currency presented for your request context (for example AED, USD, or EUR). The amount charged is the amount confirmed by our payment flow at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed by our payment provider. By paying, you authorise the charge and represent that you are authorised to use the payment method.

Taxes, FX conversions by your bank or card scheme, and provider fees outside our control are your responsibility unless mandatory law says otherwise.

Consent and policies

At purchase you accept these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy then in force. Terms acceptance is a contract term. It is not withdrawable as “consent”; ending the relationship follows the Refund Policy, support, or deletion paths.

Before Child Mode unlocks, you must grant child-data processing consent for that Child Profile under the notice shown in-product. That consent covers operating Child Mode, showing you outcomes, and using learning progress to tailor and improve the Course experience for that Child, as described in the Privacy Policy. That consent is withdrawable.

Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to allow others to:

- Misuse Join Codes, sessions, or payment flows - Attempt unauthorised access, scraping at harmful scale, reverse engineering beyond mandatory legal rights, or interference with the service - Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content where upload features exist - Use Inskillz to exploit, identify, or contact Children beyond the intended Course use - Misrepresent that you are the Parent or guardian

We may remove content, revoke Join Codes, lock Child Mode, cancel Enrollments, or refuse future purchases where reasonably necessary to protect Children, Parents, or the service.

Intellectual property

All Inskillz Course materials, software, design, Curious Crew characters, trademarks, and related content remain owned by Inskillz OÜ, its group companies, or its licensors. Except for the Enrollment licence above, no rights are granted.

You may not copy, redistribute, publicly perform, train public AI models on, or commercially exploit Course materials without our prior written permission.

Feedback

If you send ideas or feedback, you grant Inskillz OÜ a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them to operate and improve the service without obligation to you.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by mandatory law, Inskillz is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement where disclaimer is allowed.

We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that defects will be corrected immediately, or that the service will meet every expectation.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory applicable law (including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited, and mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence).

Subject to the previous paragraph, Inskillz and Inskillz OÜ are not liable for:

- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses - Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or learning outcomes - Issues caused by your devices, network, email provider, payment provider, or third-party outages outside our reasonable control

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to an Enrollment or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for that Enrollment.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy published with the service. Mandatory consumer rights in your place of residence (including EU/EEA consumer rights where they apply) are not displaced by that Policy. Requesting a refund does not by itself delete records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Changes to the service or Terms

We may update these Terms. The version identifier is authoritative. For material changes that our product treats as requiring Parent reconfirmation, we will prompt affected Parents and may apply a grace period before locking Child Mode for non-confirmation.

Changes do not retroactively alter the core paid scope of an already purchased Enrollment in a way that makes it worthless, except where required by law, safety, or abuse prevention.

We may change prices for future purchases at any time. Existing paid Enrollments keep the access rights purchased, subject to these Terms.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Inskillz at any time. Privacy controls (consent withdrawal and deletion) remain available as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or end access for breach, legal risk, non-payment/chargeback abuse, or service discontinuation. If we discontinue the Course entirely for a paid Enrollment with unused access through no fault of yours, your remedy is limited to a refund of the unused Enrollment fee unless mandatory law requires more.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another law.

Courts of Estonia have non-exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence require otherwise (including the right of EU/EEA consumers to bring proceedings in their home courts where that right applies). We may also seek relief in any jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or prevent misuse.

General

If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to a group company (including a future Finnish entity) or in connection with a reorganisation, sale, or transfer of the service. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, and in-product notices presented at the relevant act form the agreement for that act. English is the governing language of these Terms.
